Applicants for the Special Equipment Operator Certificate (Forklift) examination must be at least 18 years of age;
Be in good physical health and meet the specific physical requirements applicable to the particular category of forklift operation for which the application is being made;
Possess an educational background commensurate with the specific category of forklift operation for which the application is being made;
Possess work experience commensurate with the specific category of forklift operation for which the application is being made;
Possess the requisite safety-related technical knowledge and skills for a Special Equipment Operator (Forklift);
Meet all other requirements stipulated in the relevant safety technical regulations for Special Equipment Operators (Forklifts).
